A 21-year-old man has been charged following a serious assault in Alice Springs at the weekend.
Police received a report the man attended a party at a residence on Plumbago Crescent on Saturday night, Northern Territory Police say.
It is reported that around midnight an altercation involving three men has taken place, during which a 20-year-old man received three stab wounds to the back and buttocks.
The man was taken to the Alice Springs Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Police located the offender, who was charged with;
- Recklessly Endanger Life – aggravated
- Unlawfully cause serious harm
He appeared before the Alice Springs Local Court on Monday February 12.
