Cheltenham burglary and assault

Kingston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following a burglary and assault in Cheltenham earlier this month, Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told a man arrived home to find two unknown males at his Garfield Street address about 6pm on 16 November.

The men assaulted the victim before fleeing the scene.

The first offender is perceived to be of Asian appearance with a solid build and aged in his mid-to-late 20s.

He was wearing a white t-shirt under a cream jacket and runners.

The other offender is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance and is described as aged in his early-to-mid 30s and about 178cm tall with blonde/white hair.

This man was wearing a bum bag, beige trousers, a white t-shirt and runners.

Investigators have released facial composite images of two men they believe may be able to assist police with their enquiries.
