Police are investigating after a car was stolen with a toddler inside in Dandenong on Monday, 24 July.
Investigators have been told a black Kia Carnival, registration 1WU5QT, was parked on Cleeland Street about 3.25pm.
The exact circumstances are yet to be determined but the vehicle was parked with the two-year-old child in the rear seat when it was stolen.
Witnesses report seeing the vehicle driving towards Heatherton Road.
Anyone who sights the vehicle is urged to contact Triple Zero (000).
