Police are investigating a child approach in Tamworth, NSW Police say.
About 4pm yesterday (Tuesday 21 November 2017), an 8-year-old boy was walking on Falcon Drive, just off Calala Lane, when a man in a silver car asked him to get in the vehicle.
The boy ran home and notified his parents who reported the incident to police.
The man has been described as about 20-years-old, olive skin, skinny, with brown hair.
The vehicle has been described as silver in colour, and is possibly an older model Mitsubishi Lancer with Victorian number plates.
Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact police.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
