Child hit by car in Padstow

A child is being treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics after being hit by a car at Padstow this afternoon, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Davies Road at Padstow about 3.50pm today, after a 10-year-old boy was hit by a car while crossing the road near the intersection with Trevone Street.

The child is being treated for multiple injuries; police have been told he is in a stable condition and will be transported to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

The female driver of the car will been taken for mandatory tests.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
