Child hit by car - South Turramurra, NSW

A child has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in South Turramurra today, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Aluba Road, just before 10.30am (Saturday 16 June 2018), after a seven-year-old boy ran out and was hit by a Mazda CX5.

The boy was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for a possible leg fracture and head laceration before being transported to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a stable condition.

The driver, a 68-year-old man, was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Kuring-Gai Police Area Command attended and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Inquiries are continuing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
