Families are invited to celebrate Children's Week at a free family event in Knox this October.
Children's Week is a national celebration recognising the talents, skills, achievements and rights of children.
This year's theme is based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child: 'Children have the right to use their own language, celebrate their culture and practise their religion'.
Knox is hosting a free event that highlights spoken language, diversity, inclusion and cultural expression. Join us for a live theatrical performance of popular children's stories by The Flying Bookworm Theatre Company followed by crafts and activities celebrating this year's theme.
There will be play, fun and learning for babies through to preschool-aged children.
It's on Tuesday 27 October from 9.30am-11.30am at Knox Community Arts Centre, 790 Mountain Highway, Bayswater.
