Chiropractor charged with indecent assault and sexual touching in Sydney CBD

A Sydney CBD-based chiropractor will face court next month after being charged over the alleged indecent assault and sexual touching of two patients.

Police allege a 41-year-old woman was sexually touched while being treated at a clinic on George Street, on Monday 28 October 2019.

The woman reported the matter to police, and detectives from Sydney City Police Area Command commenced an investigation.

As part of inquiries, police will allege a then aged 21-year-old woman was indecently assaulted while being treated at the George Street clinic in February 2013.

Following an investigation, detectives arrested a 37-year-old man at a unit on the Pacific Highway, North Sydney, about 3.30pm yesterday (Monday 11 November 2019).

He was taken to Day Street Police Station and charged with sexually touch another person without consent, and assault with act of indecency.

The man has been granted strict conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 4 December 2019.

Investigations are continuing.
