CHO Directions for South Australia

The Chief Health Officer (CHO) has issued additional directions for South Australia, in connection to the positive community case recorded yesterday in Victoria.

The CHO directions apply to anyone who has, or intends, to arrive into the Northern Territory, and stayed on Level 3 at the Playford Hotel in Adelaide, between 19 April and 4 May 2021.

· 1A: Anyone who arrives into the Northern Territory after 12.01am on 14 May 2021 must enter mandatory supervised quarantine at their first port of arrival (either Alice Springs or Darwin), including by road. They must remain in quarantine (unless to get tested) until noon of the 14th day after they were on this floor at the hotel, regardless of whether they return a negative COVID-19 test.

· 1B: If the 14 day quarantine period has already expired at the time of arrival into the Northern Territory, the person must remain in mandatory supervised quarantine until they return a negative test.

· 2A: Anyone who is already in the Northern Territory must immediately get a COVID-19 test, and undertake quarantine at home or a suitable place until noon of the 14th day after they were in at the hotel, regardless of whether they return a negative COVID-19 test.

· 2B: If the 14 day period has already expired, the person must remain in self-isolation until they return a negative test.
