Chronicle adds daily email option for news from Cornell

Readers anywhere in the world who rely upon the Cornell Chronicle for news from far above Cayuga's waters and beyond now have a new option: a quick and clean daily email that captures the day's top stories and delivers them to their inbox.

The Chronicle's daily news email launches Monday, Oct. 12, offering current subscribers of our weekly newsletter an early look at each day's top headlines from Cornell University. The new email will be delivered in late afternoon, Monday through Thursday, highlighting three to five top stories about university research, education and outreach efforts as well as news from the administration - created by the Chronicle's staff of writers and multimedia partners, or shared through the Chronicle by colleagues in colleges, schools, academic and administrative units throughout Ithaca, New York City and around the globe.

The daily email also will feature a sample of top faculty and administration expert voices in the media, with plenty of options to link back to the Chronicle website for more news, quotes and information.

For those who want to tailor how they get the news, subscribers will have the option of receiving all five weekday emails, or choosing only the Friday morning weekly highlights newsletter by unsubscribing from any edition of the daily update through the link at the bottom of the email.

Of course, subscribers can opt out of either email at any time through the links at the bottom of each. Readers can subscribe to daily+weekly, or just weekly highlights through the email links or by signing up through the Chronicle website.
