CIFAL Flanders Unveils New Sustainability Credential

Brussels, Belgium - The International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders (CIFAL) in Brussels is promoting the Sustainability Coordinator micro-credential, a short and intensive higher education programme developed by HOGENT University of Applied Sciences and Arts. The micro-credential will take place from March to May 2026, reflecting CIFAL Flanders' activities and its strategic role in linking sustainability initiatives within the United Nations framework in Europe.

The micro-credential offered by CIFAL Flanders is designed to prepare participants for roles related to sustainability coordination and advisory functions within organisations. It brings together participants from different professional and academic backgrounds and combines theoretical and applied learning.

Building on the success of its previous edition, the micro-credential has already attracted participants from a wide range of countries and diverse professional and academic backgrounds. Participants particularly valued the programme's strong practical orientation, the variety of working methods, and the use of real-life cases. They also appreciated the opportunity to be immersed, within a relatively short period of time, in the different dimensions of sustainability through contributions from a broad range of experts.
