Detectives from Hobart CIB are currently investigating the theft of a quantity of cigarettes from two separate businesses over the past week, Tasmania Police say.
The first burglary occurred at Caltex, Risdon Road, New Town in the early hours of Sunday morning. The second burglary occurred at the Cellarbrations Bottle Shop, Main Road, New Town in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Anyone who may be aware of cheap cigarettes being offered for sale, or may have information that may assist in locating the persons responsible for these offences is asked to contact police.
