Waste services
Waste collections will be one day later than usual on the Friday of both Christmas and New Year's week and will include a Saturday collection.
The Ballarat Transfer Station will be closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Ballarat Botanical Gardens and Robert Clark Conservatory
The Ballarat Botanical Gardens is open every day.
The Robert Clark Conservatory will be closed on Christmas Day.
Ballarat Libraries
Ballarat Libraries will close on Thursday 24 December at 1pm and reopen on Tuesday 29 December. Ballarat Library will also close on Friday 1, Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 January, reopening Monday 4 January.
Sebastopol and Wendouree Libraries will reopen on Monday 4 January 2021.
Online services will be available during this time for renewing items, placing holds, searching the catalogues and borrowing eResources.

Eureka Centre
The Eureka Centre will be closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day, reopening 27 December at 10am.
The Ballarat Research Hub at Eureka will be closed from Wednesday 23 December 2020 and will reopen Monday 11 January 2021.
Customer service offices
City of Ballarat offices will be closed from Christmas Day, reopening Monday 4 January 2021 at 8.30am.
Swimming pools
The Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre (BALC) and all outdoor pools will be closed Christmas Day.
