A NSW Police Force civilian employee has been charged over an alleged domestic-related assault last year.
The 54-year-old man, who is attached to a Specialist Command, was arrested at Fairfield about 3.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 24 February 2021) following a verbal altercation with a 31-year-old woman.
Police will allege in court that the man assaulted a woman, who was known to him, on the South Coast late last year.
He was charged with common assault (DV) and granted conditional bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court on Friday 26 February 2021.
The man is currently suspended with pay.
