Police are at the scene of a fatal collision in Clifton Hill this evening.
It is believed two vehicles and two motorcycles collided on the corner of Roseneath and Hoddle Streets about 8pm.
One yet to be identified rider has died at the scene, the other male rider has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The male driver of the one of the vehicles has also been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The exact cause of the collision will be investigated by Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives who are en route.
