Of the declared proposals, six are in metropolitan Sydney and four are in regional New South Wales.
If all are lodged and approved, this could create close to 2,500 homes including affordable housing across New South Wales.
In this round a number of EOIs were not recommended by the HDA Panel for declaration as there are alternative SSD pathways already available to them or applications already underway.
Since the formation of the HDA, 333 proposals amounting to more than 111,000 potential homes have been declared state significant.
To date, 176 projects have had Secretary Environmental Assessment Requirements issued and 35 have lodged State significant development applications under the HDA pathway.
Recommendations from the HDA are published as required under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 before the SSD declaration.
