The State Government has announced new restrictions which come into effect from 11.59pm 16 August 2021 to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Under the strengthened restrictions playgrounds, basketball hoops, skate parks, outdoor exercise equipment and barbecues will be closed.
Signage advising against the use of these facilities will be erected.
We ask the community to respect this directive from the State Government and not attempt to use this equipment or facilities at this time to keep the Monash community safe from possible transmission events.
Any concerns regarding gathering of groups at any of these facilities should be directed to the COVID Hotline on 131 444 or report online.
