Clothes Swapping Party

Well done to everyone who took part in our recent Clothes Swapping Party.

We had more than 90 people take part this year, helping avoid pre-loved clothes going to landfill.

While that was down on our 2019 event, we were still able to find new owners for 74 per cent of the clothes on the night, the same ratio as two years ago.

The remaining clothes will go to the Op Shop at Green Connect Illawarra, in Unanderra.

A highlight of this year's Clothes Swapping Party was being able to donate 300 pre-loved bras to Support the Girls.

Participants were asked to donate a good quality pre-loved bra, which were collected at the Party.

These bras will be provided to local women in need at a special bra gifting day later this year.

Another outcome is that funds raised from the $5 participation fee will be used by Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Kiama and the Country Women's Association, for local projects.
