Clubhouse raided as Raptor South continue to target OMCG in the Illawarra, NSW

A club house linked to the Fourth Reich outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) has been searched as part of ongoing targeting of criminal networks in the Illawarra, NSW Police say.

Police from the Criminal Groups Squad’s Raptor South are investigating and conducting operations in response to violent acts believed to be related to conflicts between rival OMCGs and other criminal groups in the Illawarra and across southern NSW.

As part of ongoing strategies, Strike Force Raptor, Raptor South, the Dog Unit, Lake Illawarra Target Action Group, and the Public Order and Riot Squad, conducted an FPO search at a property at Albion Park, about 8pm yesterday (Thursday 9 August 2018).

During the operation, police searched 35 Fourth Reich OMCG members and issued 32 consorting warnings and three consorting bookings.

As a result of searches, police seized cannabis, offensive implements, an imitation firearm, and Fourth Reich OMCG colours.

Raptor Highway officers also issued 14 traffic infringements and 13 vehicle/motorcycle defect notices.

Officers also identified potential breaches inside the premises under the Gaming and Licensing Administration Act and Environmental Planning & Assessment Act.

Further inquiries will be conducted in relation to the use of the property, including potential declarations under the Restricted Premises Act.
