Cobblebank Community Hub Hits Major Construction Milestone

The Cobblebank Community Hub is a step closer to opening its doors, with construction completed and the Hub on track to be tenanted with organisations from early 2027.

Once open, the five-level Hub will be home to a range of services including allied health and social support services together in one location, helping meet the needs of the City of Melton's fast-growing community.

With major construction works complete, attention is now turning to the finishing touches, including landscaping, car park works and signage followed by internal office fit-out by tenants ahead of services in the Hub being available to the community.

The project cost is around $72.6 million with Council contributing approximately $53 million, along with $15 million from the Australian Government's Thriving Suburbs Program and $4.6 million from the Victorian Government's Growing Suburbs Fund.

Quotes attributable to City of Melton Mayor Cr Lara Carli:

"I would like to thank the Australian and Victorian Governments for their contributions to this project. Together with Council's major investment, this partnership is helping create an important community asset that will support our residents for years to come."
