De-nutting of coconut palms on the Cairns Esplanade will be undertaken from Monday 1 August until Friday 5 August, weather permitting.
Works will be undertaken on Monday to Thursday from 7am to midday, and from 4am to 7am on Friday.
Disruption is expected to be minimal but for safety reasons, the area around each tree will be fenced off while de-nutting work is underway.
De-nutting is undertaken in the interest of public safety.
