Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a collision in Berwick this morning.
It is understood a car and pedestrian collided on Princes Highway, near Coniston Avenue, about 5am.
The male pedestrian was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The male driver of the car stopped at the scene.
Police are working to establish the exact circumstances of the collision.
