Council will raise community concerns about anti-social behaviour with South Sydney Police Area Command (PAC) following a decision the Council Meeting on Wednesday 24 June.
Councillors have asked for information about what the local police can do to deter anti-social behaviour following concerns raised by residents regarding increased incidents of unsafe behaviour at Mascot Central.
Council officers meet regularly with the PAC and will be able to raise these concerns directly.
Council will also investigate the possibility of writing to property developers requesting they provide a security presence as a deterrent.
