We'll be serving up two big nights of comedy at Swan Hill Town Hall, so get your diaries and mark these dates in!
- Friday, 17 April – Open Mic Night (a free event!)
- Saturday, 9 May - Swan Hill Town Hall Comedy Gala
At the Open Mic Night, wannabe comedians will be given the chance to show us what they're made of.
"If you've always wanted to give standup comedy a shot, this will be your chance to test out your material and show us what you've got!" Swan Hill Town Hall's Sharon Brinkman said.
"And the best part is that your friends and family – and everyone else for that matter - can come along for free!
"The Open Mic Night will be a relaxed, fun night for people to come along, enjoy a drink and a laugh, and vote for their favourite upcoming comedian."
The winner will perform with well known TV and radio comedians at the Swan Hill Town Hall Comedy Gala just a few weeks later, on Saturday, 9 May.
"We haven't confirmed the comedians yet, but check our socials and website for names of comedians closer to the date," Ms Brinkman said.
"What we can tell you now is that they will be top quality performers from radio and television shows like Have You Been Paying Attention?"
