CommBank Emerging Championships 2025: Top Teams

The Teams of the Tournament for the CommBank Emerging Socceroos Championships and CommBank Emerging Matildas Championships have been revealed, celebrating the standout players from two weeks of high-quality football.

Held at the Home of the Matildas in Melbourne and Valentine Sports Park in Sydney, the tournaments are a key step in Football Australia's player development pathway and provide a glimpse of the next generation of Subway Socceroos and CommBank Matildas.

Selected by National Team staff who carefully watched every match across both competitions, the Teams of the Tournament recognise those who impressed most with their skill, consistency, and impact in both the Under 15 and Under 16 Age Groups.

CommBank Emerging Socceroos Championships - U15 Team of the Tournament

The Under 15 selections are headlined by Josef Sikora (Football NSW), who scored six goals and was named CommBank Player of the Tournament. He is joined in the attacking picks by fellow six-goal scorers Thomas Nasso (Football VIC), who also found the net in the Championship Final, and Zach Harrison (Football QLD). In goal, Aaron Black (Football West) earned Goalkeeper of the Tournament after a standout week between the posts while the remaining spots feature a mix of midfielders and defenders from four different Member Federations, showcasing the depth of talent across the country.

The Under 16 group highlights some of the tournament's most dangerous attacking talent, with Orson Conroy (Football NSW) claiming the Golden Boot after a remarkable nine goals. Aston Reid (Football NSW) was named CommBank Player of the Tournament, while Max Court (Football NSW) added four goals, including one in the final. In goal, Lachlan Allen (Football NSW) stood out as Goalkeeper of the Tournament, while three different member federations feature in the defensive line.

The Under 15 team of the tournament is led by Jada Taylor (Football NSW), who claimed the Golden Boot with eight goals and was named Final MVP. She is joined among the attacking selections of Mackenzie Preston-Poole (NNSW Football) and Holly Tweedale (Football NSW), who each scored seven goals. Four different Member Federations earned recognition reflecting the competition's depth, while CommBank Player of the Tournament Mary Dal Broi (Football NSW) also features in the squad. Zoe Reader (Football QLD) was named Goalkeeper of the Tournament after producing several match-defining saves.

Among the Under 16s, Phoebie Gordon (NSW Country) claimed the Golden Boot with six goals, while Alexis Pantazopoulos (Football VIC) delivered the decisive strike in the Championship Final to secure her place in the line-up. Aeryn Tarrant (Football VIC) earned both Player of the Tournament and Final MVP honours for her all-round performances across the week. Four different Member Federations are recognised while Amelia Miller (Football TAS) claimed Goalkeeper of the Tournament after an outstanding campaign.
