Community Covid Rapid Antigen Test Program

The Department of Health (DH) is expanding its Community COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test Program as a crucial part of the State's plan to ensure that Victorians stay safe. DH are expanding the existing program with councils to ensure that all vulnerable Victorians have access to Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs).

Latrobe City Council have been selected as a distribution point for this program. We will be providing free rapid antigen tests to all community members ensuring kits are available and accessible. You can collect RAT tests from Council Headquarters at 141 Commercial Road, Morwell or any of the Latrobe City Libraries.

Everyone can collect up to two packs of five RATs per person, subject to availability. You do not need a Medicare card.

You can collect RATs as many times as you need. If you run .out of RATs, you are welcome to collect more to make sure you are prepared.

Community members who may be experiencing symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19, are strongly advised to reach out to a guardian or carer to collect a free RAT kit on their behalf to protect those around them.
