Community Urged to Use Log It Fix It for Issues

Georges River Council

Did you know that when you use Log It Fix It, your request goes directly to the right Council team—no delays, no middle steps?

Log It Fix It is Georges River Council's official platform for reporting issues and requesting services. Requests submitted through Log It Fix It are sent directly to Council staff, enabling faster response times and more efficient service delivery. That means issues in your community can be identified and resolved sooner.

Using third-party or commercial reporting apps can actually slow down how quickly your issue is resolved. This is because Council does not subscribe to these external platforms.

Reports submitted through these apps are emailed to Council alongside general correspondence. Staff must then manually re-enter the information into Log It Fix It—often without all the details needed to take action. In some cases, requests cannot be processed at all due to missing information or delays in handling.

Each Log It Fix It category is specifically designed to capture the right information from the outset. This helps our teams get started straight away, reducing the need for follow-up and cutting down on wait times.

Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said, "Using Log It Fix It means less back-and-forth, fewer delays, and faster results for everyone.

"Let's keep our community running smoothly—use Log It Fix It for all Council-related issues.

"Thank you to everyone who takes the time to report local issues. Your efforts help keep our community safe, clean, and well-maintained."

Not sure if your request sits with Council? The Log It Fix page has a list of common Council issues you can report, but also a list of common issues not managed by Council. The page has links to State and Federal Government bodies, and other organisations that can assist you with reports that aren't managed by Council.
