Concerns held for Nelson Bay man, NSW

Police are appealing for public information on the whereabouts of a Nelson Bay man, NSW Police say.

Shannon Blackie, aged 26, was reported as missing to police when his family hadn’t heard from him for three weeks.

His father and police hold serious concerns for his welfare.

Officers from Port Stephens-Hunter Police District commenced inquiries to locate the man and are appealing for the community’s assistance.

Shannon is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts, or that sights Shannon, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
