Australia Post has launched its first ever Australia Post-branded mobile phone product – Australia Post FlexiSIM – created to help people and communities connect with an offer that is simple, fair and represents value for money.
Launching in time for Christmas, Australia Post FlexiSIM offers customers a 30-day, pay as you go SIM card with the choice of three easy and competitive plans at a cost of $19, $25 and $35. The $25 plan provides 20GB of data with unlimited text and calls.
Executive General Manager Community and Consumer, Nicole Sheffield said the new offering was a continuation of the important role Australia Post has played in connecting Australian communities.
"For more than 210 years, including more than 20 years offering telecommunications products and services, we have helped Australians stay connected," Ms Sheffield said.
"With the launch of Australia Post FlexiSIM, we build on that rich history and offer Australians a value for money way to connect and share through Australia's most trusted brand."
The 30-day no lock-in contract plans all feature data sharing and data gifting – providing flexibility for family and friends on FlexiSIM.
All plans include unlimited talk and text within Australia and a choice of data inclusions. International calls to 30 countries are also available for two of the three plans.
Named for its flexibility, FlexiSIM customers will be able to upgrade their plan at any stage within their billing cycle if, for example, they realise they require more data.
The unique data sharing and gifting combination gives FlexiSIM users a new level of data flexibility. Users can share data with up to five FlexiSIMs on the same account. They can also gift up to 5GB of data in 1GB increments to anyone on a FlexiSIM plan.

Australia Post is partnering with TravelSIM and Optus to deliver FlexiSIM. This builds on our existing successful partnership in offering the co-branded Australia Post TravelSIM that has been popular with over 100,000 international travellers.
Australia Post mobile FlexiSIM is available now at participating Post Offices and online at auspostmobile.com.au. Customers can then activate quickly online or via the FlexiSIM app with the option of easily porting their existing number if they wish.
