Consultation opens for Kings Park Improvements Stage 3

NCA

Public consultation is now open on improvements to Kings Park - an important part of the original design for the central basin of Lake Burley Griffin in the National Capital.

Kings Park Improvements Stage 3 will improve safety for the public by separating pedestrian and cycle paths, relocating car parking to the park's edges and introducing new and revitalised green spaces.

The proposed work will enhance visitor experience in one of the National Triangle's prominent public open areas and allow for new commercial opportunities such as a café.

Together, these improvements will reinvigorate Kings Park and complete enhancements already delivered through stages 1 and 2 of the Kings Park Improvement Project.
