Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi has been labelled, "the ultimate straight shooter" by veteran journalist and co-host of Adelaide radio station FIVEaa's breakfast show David Penberthy.
On Paul Murray Live on Sky News last night Pauline Hanson claimed to be a "victim" after the exposé of One Nation Party members attempting to solicit donations from the US gun lobby and the subsequent resignation of her Queensland Senate candidate Steve Dickson, after footage emerged of him groping dancers and making disparaging comments about a woman in a Washington DC strip club.
FIVEaa breakfast co host Will Goodings bemoaned the fact with David Penberthy (both pictured above) that tears and victimhood seem to be trumping good old conservative common sense.
