Registrations are now open for local businesses interested in helping create a cleaner future for Campbelltown, with Business Clean Up Day taking place on Tuesday 24 February.

Business Clean Up Day is an initiative of Clean Up Australia and invites Campbelltown workplaces to get outdoors, connect with the local environment and play an active role in reducing litter and waste.

Volunteer participation can include staff, customers and stakeholders working together to make a visible difference in the community.

This year, Campbelltown City Council has also registered to participate, where staff will be invited to put their gloves on to take part in Clean Up Day and demonstrate our commitment to taking small, but impactful steps alongside the community.

"Business Clean Up Day is a great opportunity for workplaces to get their gloves on and help care for the places where we live, work and shop," said. Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr Darcy Lound

"It's great to see Council taking part this year, showing that when we all take meaningful actions together, we can make a real difference for our environment. Keeping Campbelltown clean is a shared responsibly and by getting involved, businesses can help create cleaner public spaces for everyone," Cr Lound said.

Businesses play an important role in tackling litter and waste across Campbelltown. By reducing waste, recycling correctly and taking action, local businesses can help encourage residents and their customers to make better choices and keep our community clean.
