Council cancels public gatherings due to coronavirus concerns

Liverpool City Council is closely following information provided by the NSW and Australian Governments about the coronavirus.

With the welfare of our staff and community in mind, Council has decided to take a precautionary approach and postpone or cancel a number of upcoming public events.

Events that will not be held include:

  • Outdoor cinema at Carnes Hill – Friday 13 March and Saturday 14 March; Friday 20 March and Saturday 21 March; Friday 27 March and Saturday 28 March;
  • Parks teams community barbecues at Wattle Grove Lake on Saturday 14 March and at Catalina Park, Middleton Grange on Saturday 21 March;
  • Seniors Concerts on 22 April and 23 April;
  • ABC Chat Fest 29 March (CPAC); and
  • 5th House Energy event 14 March (CPAC).
