The Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, was hospitalised overnight from Friday to Saturday. His condition is not a cause fr concern, but as a precaution he will remain under observation for a few days.
As a result, his participation in the Bled Strategic Forum has had to be cancelled. The Slovenian authorities have been informed.
At this stage, his attendance at the engagements scheduled for next week remains uncertain.
