Council Systems Offline for Maintenance, Security

Bega Valley Shire Council's customer service systems will be offline for maintenance and security upgrades from 4.30pm on Thursday 22 May and back to normal at 9am on Monday 26 May.

The Customer Service front counter at the Zingel Place office will be closed to the public on Friday 23 May which means no bills can be paid in person.

All other externally facing and accessible services will operate as normal, this includes Council Waste Services, the Sapphire Aquatic Centre, libraries, childcare services and SECCA.

Rates, Water and Debtor payments can be made online via the AusPost Billpay website or in person at any Post Office. Rates and Water payments can also be paid via phone with a credit card (call 02 6499 2222 and select 1 to pay Rates or Water).

BPAY payments can still be made via a customer's own bank account.

Council's new flexible payment experience, Payble will still process active rates and water direct debits and be available for one off payments. Any payments made during this time will be reconciled on Monday 26 May.

Council staff will be working on the Friday when the impacted systems are offline, however they will not be able to access customer records or process customer requests and applications.

Requests raised through Snap Send Solve will continue to be logged however Council will be unable to process these jobs until Monday 26 May.

All Council services will resume as normal from 9am on Monday 26 May.

If you have problems with any of our services from Monday 26 May onwards, please call 02 6499 2222.
