At an Extraordinary Meeting on Friday morning, Council resolved to write to the Minster for Local Government to accept the required actions of a proposed Performance Improvement Order (PIO).
Council resolved to commit to fully cooperate with the Office of Local Government to implement the required actions, and voted in favour of engaging an appropriate, independent and suitably qualified professional to collate and review relevant materials held by Council relating to the concerns raised in the Order.
Council will now write to the Minister informing him of its decision by 20 February 2026.
