Council to hold May 16 Ordinary Meeting at Cooran

Noosa Council will hold its May 16 Ordinary Meeting at Cooran.

Mayor Tony Wellington said holding the Ordinary Meeting in different parts of the shire offered residents who didn't live near the Tewantin chambers the opportunity to experience a Council meeting.

"We invite residents along to witness the decision-making process and have a chat with their local representatives," the Mayor said.

The meeting will be held at the Cooran Memorial School of Arts Hall, 14 King Street Cooran.

The meeting starts at 6pm, but residents can arrive from 5pm to chat with the Mayor, Councillors and Council's Executive Team.

"There will also be some further time after the meeting for residents to discuss any issues of concern with Councillors," Mayor Wellington said.

The Ordinary Meeting is the last meeting in each meeting cycle.

"I look forward to meeting residents who come along on May 16," the Mayor said.
