City of Ryde Council will relocate its administrative headquarters from 3 Richardson Place, North Ryde to a new facility at 118 Talavera Road, Macquarie Park as the current lease comes to an end in late April 2026.
The move to the Macquarie Park Office (MPO) will take place between Friday 17 and Sunday 19 April 2026, with the new headquarters fully operational from Monday 20 April 2026.
City of Ryde Acting CEO John Angilley said the relocation supports Council's long-term commitment to efficient operations and improved service delivery.
"This relocation is an important step in strengthening Council's ability to serve our community now and into the future," Mr Angilley said.
"Macquarie Park is the economic heart of the City of Ryde and our new office places Council in a highly accessible location close to the Metro and major bus services. We're also ensuring clear customer service arrangements are in place to support residents during the transition, by continuing services at Pope Street."
The Council Chambers, Customer Service and the Call Centre will remain at Pope Street, until they relocate to MPO sometime in 2027. The Customer Service Counter will remain in place at Pope Street, below Ryde Library.
"We've carefully planned the transition to ensure services continue with minimal disruption," Mr Angilley said.
"Our community can be confident that Council services and customer support on Pope Street will remain open throughout the move."
City of Ryde Council will continue to keep residents informed as the relocation progresses.
