Byron Shire Council's Resourcing Strategy is one of the organisation's key documents, focusing on assets, staff and finances and it's now on public exhibition.
In late June Council endorsed the Delivery Program for 2025 to 2029 which lists the priority projects and work to be done over the four-year Council term.
The Resourcing Strategy outlines the time, people and assets available to implement the Delivery Program.
The Resourcing Strategy includes:
- Long-Term Financial Planning
- Workforce Management Planning
- Asset Management Planning
Within the Resourcing Strategy, the Workforce Management Strategy is about how Council will ensure it has the right people to achieve its strategic goals and objectives.
The Long-Term Financial Plan presents how Council intends to fund its work over the next ten years and the Strategic Asset Management Plan guides how assets will be managed to service the community in the most cost-effective way.
Information about the Resourcing Strategy and how to make a submission is on Council's website.
Submissions close on Sunday 3 August.
