In the Duke Forest's 90th Anniversary year, we are highlighting different aspects of the Forest's dynamic mission. In this video, we hear from Duke Forest Forest Supervisor Tom Craven who gives an update on our 10-year forest inventory that ended last year and the establishment of a new 'continuous forest inventory' modality.
Management of this land base for teaching and research uses and selective and sustainable harvesting has been a part of this mission since the beginning in 1931.
