The article regarding the winding up of several companies which formed part of the Store First storage business group by High Court was originally published as a media release from the UK Government.
The media release included quotes attributable to Scott Crighton, Chief Investigator for the Insolvency Service, in relation to the alleged business practices of Store First.
As the media release has since been withdrawn and removed from the UK government statements and we have recently been informed of the matter by the legal representatives of First Store, we have removed the contents of this article to reflect the agreement reached between the parties.
The Insolvency Service was quoted by LT as saying the press release was unpublished following legal advice that its contents are capable of being misinterpreted.
A spokesman for Store First has also confirmed in the same report that an out of court agreement has been reached with the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
