Coveted Closets wardrobe sale

Bayside City Council is supporting a unique and special event as part of the nationwide Garage Sale Trail on the weekend of Saturday 19 and 20 October.

Claire Goldsworthy, aka The Fashion Advocate, will be hosting a 'Coveted Closets' wardrobe sale at Brighton Town Hall from 10am - 4pm on Sunday 20 October.

Shop from the wardrobes of Melbourne's top bloggers, stylists and industry gal-pals, and have a positive impact while you're at it. Entry to the sale will be $2.

A 'good' wardrobe is a mix of pre-loved, new, ethical and sustainable garments, and it's all about how you put it together. And on Sunday 20 October, you'll be able to put together some incredible outfits when Claire Goldsworthy (The Fashion Advocate), Melissa Singer (National Fashion Editor, The Age), Violet Trikillis (Model and influencer), Sarah Green (Vintage-lover, Sarah Vintage) and 20+ more fashion-lovers, open their wardrobes up for sale in this beautiful space - Brighton Town Hall.

Head to the Facebook event for more details or register on our website to host your own Garage Sale with your family, friends or neighbours.

Bayside is leading the way by putting secondhand first, reducing the amount of stuff we send to landfill and the number of new products made. We are decreasing our negative impact on the environment and preserving it for future generations.

Host a sale, or shop the trail, to join 400,000 Australians bargain hunting, re-using, recycling and making a difference!
