COVID-19 update – Diamond Princess evacuees

The number of confirmed cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) among the Australian evacuees from the Diamond Princess today reached seven.

A Queenslander will remain in isolation overnight at the Howard Springs Manigurr-ma evacuation centre before being repatriated home by the Queensland Health team tomorrow.

Earlier today, four Australians flew from Darwin to their home states of Victoria and Queensland after returning positive tests for COVID-19.
