CPA Australia Policy and Advocacy Update Series – the 2019 Federal Election

CPA Australia kicks off its national member federal election roadshow series in Alice Springs today.

CPA Australia members will gather at the Mercure Hotel to discuss key federal policy issues that may impact business, individuals and the accounting profession in the upcoming federal election, including franking credits, the cost of managing tax affairs, and possible changes to capital gains tax and negative gearing policies.

The roadshow series will also consider CPA Australia's federal budget recommendations, and the recent Hayne Banking Royal Commission recommendations.

CPA Australia's national federal election roadshow will features 20 member events in every state and territory in Australia over the coming weeks.
