Craft is alive at Caloundra Indoor Stadium

Bring out your creative side and learn from world class specialists this April when Craft Alive comes to the Sunshine Coast for the first time.

Now in its 28th year, Australia's largest craft series will run across three days at council's Caloundra Indoor Stadium from April 12-14.

Division 2 Councillor Tim Dwyer said he looked forward to welcoming the national Craft Alive event to our healthy, smart, creative region – bringing a weekend of patchwork, scrapbooking and stitchery, with interactive classes running all day, every day.

"Each event features craft designers and teachers from across the country and covers a wide range of crafts and products," Cr Dwyer said.

"Packed full of the latest craft supplies, kits and equipment, as well as chances to win prizes in the major prize draw, this event is jam-packed and a must-see for all craft enthusiasts."

Visit the café to refuel when you need a break from the action, serving hot and cold food plus coffees, cakes and much more across the weekend.

The event is open from 9am-4pm from Friday April 12 to Sunday April 14. Cost to attend is $12 for adults (online special), from $13 at the door and children 14 and under are free if accompanied by an adult.
