Crash At Kensington Park

Police attended a two-car crash at Kensington Park last night.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Kensington Road and Glynburn Road, Kensington Park at 11.30pm on Thursday 29 January.

Both drivers, a 33-year-old Rostrevor woman and an 18-year-old Magill woman, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The younger woman is believed to have sustained a broken arm in the crash.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Traffic lights were out and both cars proceeded into the intersection at the same time.

Police urge motorists to approach intersections with caution when lights are out. Slow down. Normal give way rules apply, and you must give way to the right.

Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
