Northern Territory Police are on the scene of a bus crash five kilometres east of Hermannsburg.
Emergency services received a report of the crash at around 3.30pm. NT Police, NT Fire and Rescue Service and St John are attending.
A male has died at the scene.
A number of other passengers have been injured and are being treated by the local clinic and medical staff who have travelled from Alice Springs.
Motorists are asked to be aware of emergency vehicles operating in the area and to follow all directions. Heavy vehicles should consider using Namatjira Drive.
NT Police Major Crash Investigation Unit and NT Worksafe are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
