Crash On Richmond Road, Cambridge

Police are investigating a serious crash involving two motorcycles at Cambridge today.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Richmond Road about 2.05pm.

A black Honda CMX motorcycle and a black Suzuki VLR motorcycle crashed near the vicinity of 287 Richmond Road heading towards Cambridge.

The rider of the Honda, a 56-year-old man, was transported to the Royal Hobart Hospital with minor injuries.

The rider of the Suzuki, a 55-year-old man, was transported to the Royal Hobart Hospital with serious injuries.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash or either motorcycle beforehand.
