Artists and creative professionals from across the Macarthur region will have the
opportunity to connect with the NSW arts sector and learn more about funding and
exhibition pathways at Camden Council's next Creative Collab forum taking place on
Thursday 3 September 2026, 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Camden Civic Centre, Undercroft,
Oxley Street, Camden.
The quarterly forum will feature special guest Craig Donarski, Senior Western Sydney
Programs Lead at Create NSW, who will share practical insights to help local creatives
turn their ideas into opportunities.
Craig brings extensive experience across the arts, culture and creative industries, with a
strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing artists and creative
communities across Western Sydney.
At the September session, Craig will discuss current and upcoming arts funding
opportunities, what makes a strong grant application, eligibility requirements and ways
local creative projects can connect with broader arts and cultural strategies and
opportunities.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said Creative Collab provided an important
opportunity for Camden and Macarthur's creative community to connect, learn and grow.
"Creative Collab is about creating connections and opening doors for our local artists and
creative professionals.
"We want our creative community to have access to the knowledge, networks and
opportunities they need to develop their ideas and take their creative practice to the next
level.

The session will also provide an opportunity for participants to connect with fellow artists
and creatives from across Camden and the wider Macarthur region.
Creative Collab supports creatives working across a broad range of disciplines, including
visual and decorative arts, performing arts, music, design and other creative industries.
Participants are encouraged to bring their questions, ideas and projects and take
advantage of the opportunity to hear directly from an experienced arts sector professional.
