Cricket Victoria has confirmed the election of Deb Loughnan, Bryce McGain and the re-election of Penelope Cleghorn to the organisation's Board at the Annual General Meeting held on Monday evening.
Ms. Loughnan played over 300 Premier Cricket matches and is a Senior Finance Manager within the Department of Treasury and Finance. She has served as a Member of the Premier Cricket Strategic Advisory Group, a member of the Women's Premier Panel and as Treasurer of Ringwood Cricket Club
Mr. McGain is the Chief Executive Officer of the National Training College of Australia. A former Australian Test cricketer and Victorian player, he now leads strategic direction and organisational performance, having held positions across the education, sport and banking sectors.
Ms. Cleghorn will enter her third term as a Cricket Victoria Director. She is the Assistant Principal at Viewbank College in Melbourne's Inner northeast and has served on the Cricket Victoria Board since her election in August 2020.
The meeting marked the conclusion of Ross Hepburn's tenure as Chair and six years as a Director.
"I congratulate Deb, Bryce and Penelope on their election and wish them every success on the Board," Hepburn said.
With his time as Chair ending, Hepburn said Victorian cricket was in good hands as the game enters a new phase domestically and internationally.
"Cricket in Victoria is powered by an extraordinary network of people who care deeply about the game," Hepburn said.
"I leave confident in its future and the people entrusted with taking the organisation forward."
Cricket Victoria CEO, Nick Cummins, acknowledged Hepburn's impact on the organisation.
"Ross has been a strong supporter of our Executive Management Team, while always challenging us to act with greater ambition and urgency. I have greatly valued his counsel, his trust and his determination to ensure every decision serves the best interests of Victorian cricket."
Cummins added; "His contribution will have a lasting impact, and on behalf of everyone at Cricket Victoria, I thank him for his leadership and service."
Elected Board members will be formally appointed following satisfactory completion of due diligence processes.
The Cricket Victoria Board intends to elect a new Chair at its next scheduled meeting in September.
